Friends of Pishiobury Park
The Friends started in autumn 2010 as a small group of volunteers who have been carrying out conservation and maintenance tasks in the park with the help of the Countryside Management Service, as well as running free events and activities. The tasks have so far included tree planting, installing benches and enlarging a spring fed pond. Our events and activities have ranged from a 24hr ‘Bioblitz’ , Wonderful Worms, bat evening walks, historical walks, dating the trees and meeting the animals in the park.
