Forward Planning Dates for Dairy 2025

  • Civic Service – Great St Mary’s Church - DATE TBC in 2025 - 3pm  at Great St Mary's Church

 

  • Civic Dinner – Saturday 5th April – 6.45pm arrival for 7.15pm Dinner, Memorial Hall

 

  • V E Day Civic Ceremonial – Thursday 8th May 2025 – wreath laying at Airfield and beacon lighting at Town Council will take place and national civic ceremonial duties will be carried out.

 

  • V E Day Town Event – Saturday 10th May 2025 – Bell Street Car Parks, performances and live music. 

 

  • River Day – Saturday 31st May – 12 to 4pm at Sheering Lock: River cruises, Information Stalls and fun activities, free event for all the family

 

  • Fun on the Field – Bullfields - Saturday 30th August - 12 to 5pm, Stalls, live music, bar, fun dog show and fun fair. 

 

  • Town Walk (following Travel Challenge Week)   – Saturday 27th September 11am to 2pm - a guided fun walk around the town with activity stop off points.

 

  • Remembrance Day – Sunday 9th November 2025 at 3pm, Great St Mary’s Church. Parade sets off from Bell Street Car Park at 2.50pm

 

  • Christmas Lights Switch On – Town Centre - Saturday 29th November 2025 from 3pm – Lights switched on 6pm.
